Murdock Nebraska News
School News EM Area News Lofte Theatre Cass County Events
What a year so many activities, so many things happening. We have some pretty amazing people in our community doing phenomenal things.

In addition to all the school activities, we have the 4th of July Celebration which brings hundreds of people into our town. The Murdock ball filed concessions also has a VERY big reputation in the "ball circuit" for having the best concession stand around.
The market to market race brings thousands of people into Murdock. Maybe this year we can plan to promote our town and bring people back.
There is Bulldogs, a new Elmwood-Murdock school superintendent, and an ever-growing support for Murdock PRIDE.
What will 2018 bring?
I want to thank everyone who has contributed and sent news and community information. I couldn't do this without you. The 2018 challenge is to increase the number of people who read the Murdock website and the weekly news.
I want to start adding church dinners, meetings, community events, and Village board meeting schedule
BUT I need your help!! I need dates, I need more news to make the Murdock website a "go-to" reference for anyone looking for village information. Lions Club meetings, 4-H Club meetings, etc...Museum hours
Let's celebrate the accomplishments and unique news of our community. Do you know someone, a former student or current Elmwood resident who is doing something unique or interesting? Maybe they live in another part of the world? Maybe you know someone who wrote a book? Is doing a college internship internationally.

Cass County Creative Cars 4-H Club
Charles Cawley and Whitney Koen from Cass County Creative Cats 4H club were interviewed on channel 10/11 new's section of Pure Nebraska about the clubs community service project for this year.
The project included collecting wrapping paper, gift tags, and gifts for 3rd grade kids in a school in a low income area to give presents to their parents for Christmas.
