How to Submit an Article to the Newsletter

SpringWreathYellowSpring is here and that means Easter Egg Hunts, the Football team Annual Fish Fry and Prom Season!

Can you keep up? Maybe not, but let's try.

April will be a busy month and to help navigate the events I've added a Table of contents section at the top to easily navigate through the newsletter.

There is a lot happening in Cass County. Make sure to check out the newsletters in the other towns for events.

Flowers will be blooming and you might see me hunkered down on the ground in various locations throughout town taking pictures.

Can you guess who has this cherry Spring wreath on their door?

Please share you spring flowers by sending me an email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  and I will feature them in the newsletter. I am also looking for community news and events. Is your group having a plant sale? Doing a car wash?

Please send photos of your past events, prom, youth group events, pancake feeds, 4-H club meetings, scout meetings, garden club, church suppers, it's all news that shows the vibrancy and life of Elmwood Nebraska.

I love flowers! I also love photography, and that is an understatement.

Junior Senior Prom

On Saturday, April 1st two buses pulled up to escort the Elmwood-Murdock Juniors and Seniors to their prom. They were dressed to the nines in their formals and the boys were looking snazzy in their rented tuxedos. Parents lined the red carpet to act as paparazzi and capture the moment.

Both the prom and post prom was held at the Kroc Center in Omaha and the kids and sponsors had access to three pools, several gyms, an indoor soccer field and a game room.

Thank you to Karey Koehn for the photos
