Murdock Nebraska News
We are over halfway through January and coming up on a new month. Wow, 2017 is still brand new, yet it seems the newness has worn off for many. I myself am looking forward to spring, sunshine and nice weather. These cloudy, foggy days are enough for me.
But there is still plenty to get you out and about in our community. School basketball games, the upcoming Blood Drive at the Elmwood Fire Hall, and the Annual Trinity Lutheran Church Farm Auction at Round the Bend.

Farmer's Consignment Auction
Yes, you're seeing this right, a Farm Auction. You may not live on a farm or acreage, but a farm auction is an excuse to get out and socialize. There will be lunch served in the back and includes home-made pies!!
Proceeds go to mission outreach and local organizations. Last year thousands of dollars were donated to fire and rescue organizations who service our local area.

Hi everyone! Now that the weather has turned colder, the museum sees a drop in visitors.
However, we still have utilities to pay through the cold winter months. Constant temperature and humidity helps to preserve the items in the museum.
