CHANGE TO THE EASTER EGG HUNT DUE TO THE RAIN

There has been a change of plans for the Easter Egg Hunt in the Elmwood Park due to the rain. The eggs will be "hidden" in the upper grassy area of the park if kids or parents want to venture up and find 10 per child. The prizes will be under the picnic shelter and the kids or parents can stop in there and pick them up. They DO NOT have to go pick up the eggs first. They can just stop for their prizes. This will begin at 12:30 instead of at 1:00. So instead of an Easter Egg Hunt it can be more like a prize give away. But for those who are determined to hunt for eggs that option is still available!!

So sorry to report that John and Debra McNaught lost their home in a fire Tuesday night. Everyone made it out safely but it looks like it is a total loss. A fund has been set up at the American Exchange Bank for people wishing to help out. Donations can be made at the American Exchange Bank in Elmwood or Eagle.

The success of the Winnebago team has meant so much to our community and our boys were feeling that pressure. After a tough game Elmwood won and we lost. Our boys were very emotional about the whole thing and were shedding tears after the game and I couldn’t help but notice the wonderful display of sportsmanship by the Elmwood-Murdock fans who noticed their pain and then gave our boys a nice standing ovation as they left the court. It was much appreciated."
