Everyone is invited the Pep Rally scheduled for next Wednesday at the high school.  The event will be for the Boys Basketball team and will start at 2:30 p.m.  Please come on out and show your support to the boys, coaches and managers.

The Lincoln Journal Star has a great story about the Elmwood Murdock basketball team and their coach, Matt Shelsta.  Click here to read it.

These are the 2016-17 Spirit Squad Recruits! Try outs are the week of March 14th...wish them all good luck!

The Spirit Squad Helps Out at 10K

The Spirit Squad recruits all volunteered on Saturday, March 5th at the Leprechaun Chase at Mahoney State park by running 2 water stations for the 2500+ runners out to enjoy the amazing weather and run a 10k race through the park. Thank you to all the parents and other students who came out to help and support our EMHS Spirit Squad! Currently the cheerleading program is not sanctioned by the Elmwood Murdock school system.  Therefore any medals and trophies that the squad earns cannot be displayed at the school.  The School Board will be petitioned at the school board meeting on March 9th to allow the girls to display their trophy in the schools trophy case and have a state championship banner displayed on the Wall of Excellence in the gym.  No doubt the girls have been a huge support to the Elmwood Murdock School athletic program.  Let's hope they have the same support reciprocated.
