If you have been reading my reports of the Elmwood Community Center lately you may wonder why they need a new cook since they have Helen McKinney and Ashley Oldfield cooking for them. Well, I'm sad to report that Ashley has decided to return to her home state of Minnesota. Sad for us but happy for her. That leaves the Center in a spot! If you find that you do enjoy cooking and you do enjoy visiting with people and you do enjoy helping out a great group of people please do call up there and find out the details of the job. I know that they will be happy to talk to you.
The team at the Elmwood Community Center would like to send out a huge thank you for special donations received last week. Donations help make ends meet and make the meals special. Sometimes the donations are for decorating the center and sometimes it is food. They are appreciative of everything they receive.
A heartfelt thank you from the Elmwood Community Center goes out to:
Mary Francis Rienke for the donation of the picture of the Lords Supper
Ruth for the donation of Coleslaw mix
Francis for the donation of To-Go containers
Alicia for spreading the word about the Community Center
The Elmwood Food Bank for the donation of bread and cabbage
Joann for donation of the Halos
Julie (that's me!!) for the donation of a cheesecake
A Special thanks to all the Volunteers who help out daily! We couldn't do it without you!
And a HUGE thanks to the community for supporting our efforts!!!

She would like to know if it has found a new home, too, so she doesn't worry. Drop me a note or if you know Cindy please let her know!
