IT'S WAFFLEMAN TIME!

This year the Elmwood Rescue members have decided to donate the profits from their annual fundraiser The Waffleman to the Weeping Water Rescue squad. The Elmwood Rescue squad works closely with the Weeping Water Squad on many mutual aid calls. It's neighbor helping neighbor in the EMS community. Please come and show your support and enjoy the best waffles in the country.

The Oehlerkings’ “Punkin Patch” at 28614 “O” Street, just south of Elmwood, opened September 14. We have all sizes and colors of pumpkins plus squash, gourds, corn shocks, straw bales, Indian corn and mums. Products are priced and payment is on the honor system, just drop your money in the white can on the front of the wagon. There is no admission charge. We are open from dawn to dusk through October 31. Decorate your yard or front porch or get your favorite pumpkin to carve for Halloween. Many family and friends joined Randy and Angie Willey Saturday morning to walk with Ben's Brigade in the Step Up for Downs Syndrome Walk in Lincoln. It was a chilly morning but fun was had by all! What a great way to celebrate Angie's birthday (Sunday).
