Powder Puff Volleyball & Football Games
The high school boys played volleyball and the girls played flag football Saturday night to raise money for their post prom party. Friends and family came to watch and cheered them on. It was a lot of fun andthey hope to do it again.

The boys complained that there were too many rules!

You can't punch the ball? What's up with that?

Volleyball girls and Mrs. Kuhlman volunteered to ref the boys game.

Jordan Steffan served the ball.

AJ Ita was instrumental in planning the event. She was sidelined after ankle surgery but should be back soon to her normal activities.

Christy Laughlin helped keep score.

Rebecca Fortney was assisting AJ.

The anonymous scorekeepers kept their identity secret.

Robin Kuhlman didn't give the boys any breaks.

The Black team was almost all seniors...plus Emma Leone.

The White Team had only one senior but had a lot of speed.

Christy and Rebecca stretched out.

It was just all the boys could do to stay off the field. It was just driving
them crazy watching the girls play their game.

The first play of the game had Megan Schmale running down field.

She was far ahead of her competitors.

And she took it right into the end zone!

The girls kept the game moving. They were very good!

The Black Team intimidates...no one.

The White Team...also...not so intimidating.

But together they are a great group of kids!

Bridget had her hands full with two young fans...Ariel and Jordyn.

Hi! This is Ben Willey.
It's time again to raise money for the Down Syndrome Association for Families of Nebraska (D.S.A.F.) with the newly named StepUp for Down Syndrome Walk on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Antelope Park in Lincoln.
How can you help? Many different ways! You can donate by credit card on-line by going to Ben's Brigade team page here. You can donate by check made payable to DSAF of NE and send it to The Willey Family at 819 274th Street, Elmwood NE 68349. Our goal this year is to raise $1,000, so any amount will help. But the best way to show your support, is to register and come walk with us on our team Ben's Brigade. My family would love to see you there! To register, click here. Be sure to register by September 3rd to get a free T-shirt with your paid registration!
The D.S.A.F of Nebraska has given Mom and Dad a lot of helpful information and support through my first 2 years of life! This is our ONE and ONLY fund-raiser and the money raised from the StepUp Walk will pay for information for parents and educators, programs for families impacted by Down Syndrome, fun outings for my family, and much more!
The walk is 1 mile around the Children’s Zoo but there will be so much more than just the walk! I know they have a lot of fun stuff planned for the kids! Here is a link to the StepUP page on the DSAF website.
Don’t forget your donations are 100% tax deductible.
Let's make this walk a successful one!
Thanks for reading. Thanks for donating. Thanks for loving me for me!
Love,
Ben
Randy, Angie, John and Noah Willey
