First Christian Church 2010 Concert Series
Faith Singers from Missouri
May 1, Saturday @ 7PM
Free Admission w/ Love offering taken
402-269-5508
Weeping Water First Christian Church 2010 Concert Series starts with an awesome concert on May 1, Saturday at 7PM featuring Faith Singers
Faith Singers have been singing together since May 2004. Our first road trip out of state was to Apache Junction, Arizona near Phoenix. While there we ministered in several RV Parks and just had a wonderful time praising our Lord. Since then God has allowed us to travel and sing for His glory to many places. We find no place too small or to large to minister. Our commitment is to our Lord and Saviour and we will do our best to meet the needs of those we serve.
Faith Singers are members of Mo-Kan Gospel Music Association, out of Independence, Missouri, Country Gospel Music Association out of Branson, Missouri and Christian Music Ministries out of Shawnee Kansas.
Faith Singers received the Silver Heart Award for Accapella Artist of the year
for the Central Division of Country Gospel Music Association, in 2006 and 2007.
For the last several years we have sang at the Missouri State Fair, we have been on
stage at the Wyandotte County Fair and at many festivals in the northern Missouri
area.
. The concert is free admission and will be located at the First Christian Church, 306 W. H St. with a love offering taken for the ministry. For more information contact 402-269-5508 or www.faithsingerslive.com
Tomorrow's Producers 4-H Club

The Tomorrow's Producers 4-H club from Murdock spent Sunday afternoon with Everett Greathouse, of Ashland, learning how to do leathercraft. They each made two keychains, one for them and one for someone special. Some for grandmas, moms and sisters.
Mr. Greathouse walked them through all the steps from beginng to finish. They all chose their own designs and colors. They were very interested in the process and have some wonderful projects to show at the fair. Many thanks to Mr. Greathouse for his time.
4-H members include Josh & Kyle Bogatz, Paige & Katelyn Vogler, Charlotte & Valerie Miller, Matt Griffin, Shenia & Sabrina Stamps and Lindsay, Madison & Morgan Mills.
SUMMER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
Informational brochures were sent home last week regarding Summer School Enrichment for our elementary students. Please return the registration forms if you are interested in enrolling your child in the summer School Enrichment Program. We are planning to offer Enrichment classes for our students on Mondays through Thursdays from June 14 through July 1. Please contact the school if you have any questions.
SUMMER KNIGHTS
We have had some interest in the Summer Knights Childcare program. However, our numbers are still low and we need more information from the parents that are interested in the program before we can offer the program. We have been directed by the Board of Education to have this childcare program self-supporting and not use any school funds to operate. We will be sending information home on Monday, April 19th regarding the price of the childcare and other pertinent information regarding the program. We will be sending this information home to all of the parents that returned our childcare surveys and indicated that they may be interested in the program. We will ask parents to register their children and make a commitment to attend our childcare so that we can make a decision regarding the viability of the Summer Knights Childcare Program. Please contact the school if you have any questions.
