1/2 time score of 34/0. The Knights once again shut out their opponent with the final score against Palmyra 41/0.

Skit performed by the cheerleaders and players

Coaches Comments: David Todd rushed for 5 TD’s for the second game in a row last Friday night in Elmwood-Murdock’s 41-0 Homecoming win over Palmyra. David had some good blocking from his offensive line but also broke several tackles. Todd had 121 yards rushing on 16 carries. The Knight defense rose to the occasion by forcing 5 Palmyra turnovers. Kevin Zoz had 2 interceptions and Adam Zobel and Justin Waites each had one. Dave Todd recovered a Panther fumble for the 5th turnover. We were able to take advantage of good field position as a result of the turnovers. I thought our offensive and defensive lines did a nice job of controlling the line of scrimmage. Kevin Zoz was 7/9 passing for 72 yards. Kevin is completing 70% of his passes and has made good decisions in our passing game. The players came out of the gates ready to play. I was pleased with the way our team set the tone for the game from the opening kickoff. The Knights travel to Weeping Water next Friday night for another District contest. Game time is 7:00 p.m.

Helpful Hints
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable.

The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our attitudes.
