For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing (joy) comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5

What's Happening Around Our Community

The Knights football team had their 3 rd Annual Team Bonding held at Nick Beebee's house. The coaches and guys came after Friday's practice to eat chicken donated by Hank Vice, baked bean, macaroni salad, and lots of desserts. After filling up they played outdoor games including horse shoes, volleyball, and roasting marshmallows.

Website of the Week

Here's a little of what I found at the Elmwood-Murdock school website:

As the students and teachers returned to school last Friday, there were a lot of changes that had been made during the summer. Mr. Novak will address and update changes on the Building Project on a monthly basis at the school's website.

One other change is that the Junior and Senior High is released at 3:30 pm instead of 3:45

Mr. Novak says:

“With the building project going on at both sites we want to remind everyone of the need to follow safety rules at both sites. We have worked very hard to develop plans which will make for a safe learning environment for everyone during the duration of the project. Safety of our students, staff, and visitors has been and will continue to be our main concern as we progress with the building project. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding the project or need any further information.”

Dan Novak, Superintendent
Elmwood-Murdock Public Schools
