Inspiration
Be ye fishers of men. You catch them and He will clean them.
Coincidence is when God chooses to remain anonymous.
God doesn't call the qualified He qualifies the called.
The Will of God will never take you to where the Grace of God will not protect you.
We do not change the message the message changes us.
You can tell how big a person is by what it takes to discourage him.
Elmwood-Murdock FBLA Takes Windy City by Storm

Fourteen members of the Elmwood-Murdock Future Business Leaders of America traveled to Chicago on June 27 to join over 7,000 fellow FBLA members from across the nation for the 65 th Annual National FBLA Conference. While in the windy city, members attended a Blue Man Group performance, enjoyed fireworks at Navy Pier, toured the Board of Trade, and overlooked the city from the top of the Sears Tower.
At the conference, members attended general sessions, voted for national officers, and competed in competitive events. The conference culminated with an awards session, where Elmwood-Murdock students excelled and earned four top ten awards. Recognition included Britney Hrabik, 5 th Place, Electronic Career Portfolio; Mallory Buck, Kevin Zoz, and Clay Carlton, 7 th Place, Multimedia Presentation; Trent Shrader, Marcus Winter, and Jon Luetchens, 2 nd Place, Partnership with Business Project; and Madison Stephen, Kevin Zoz, and Scott Ronhovde, 2 nd Place, Community Service Project. Ronhovde was also a finalist in the Impromptu Speaking event. Other Elmwood-Murdock competitors included Sierra Ronhovde, Megan Bober, and Hannah Fischer, American Enterprise Project; Madison and Sam Stephen, Web Site Development; Jon Luetchens, Public Speaking I; Lachelle Stille, FBLA Principles and Procedures; and Marcus Winter, Introduction to Business.
Finally, the chapter earned the Gold Seal of Merit Award and “Outstanding Chapter” designation, the highest recognition bestowed upon chapters. Melissa Schram and Kurk Shrader served as chapter advisers this past year.
