The Elmwood Murdock Merchant's Association will be holding their Annual Community Celebration Banquet on January 5th at the Murdock High School, at 6pm. EMMA will review the successes of the past year and look forward to 2007. The night includes a roast beef/ham dinner, entertainment by "The Sentimental Journey"-a quartet from the Lincoln Continentals and the EM Jazz Band.
EMMA will also be presenting their scholarship to Mikaela Shrader. The Good Neighbor awards will be presented. The FBLA will introduce "ELMUR" and the upcoming officers will also be introduced.
Tickets can be purchased for $7.50 from Judy Cline by calling 994-2406 or 994-5445. All members of the community are invited to the banquet. If you are looking to join EMMA, membership for 2007 is underway. The FBLA skip on "ELMUR" is to invite membership from individuals who want to get involved in community betterment as well as businesses. Business membership is $25 if paid by 1/31, and $30 after that.
